World Book Day – A Pop & Flo book list

I love reading & audiobooks so I thought I would use the excuse of World Book Day this week to share my favourites with you all. I have also included some of my wish list – books that I intend to read or listen too very soon.

First up are the books that I have read – my top picks would be Kala (a gritty thriller / coming of age tale set in Ireland) & Raising Hare (warm & tender book about the wonders of nature).

I am also loving the tips from India Knight on all things Home & the warm gentle reflections on the seasons by Charlie Gray. Mary Berry never fails to delight & her new recipe book to celebrate turning 90 is brilliant – I haven’t stopped cooking from it since Christmas.

Next up is my audio list – I do lots of driving & love an audio book to listen to – favourites have been You are here (really funny romance) & The Names -(a sliding doors kind of story that really made me think). I think these would also read really well if you aren’t an audio lover.

Lastly my wish list – I loved Jennie Godfrey’s debut novel, The List of Suspicious things, so I am expecting good things from her second book. Claire Kegan in an amazing Irish author – I love her style of writing so cannot wait to read her short stories… & I follow Natasha Poliszczuk on Instagram – her recommendations are always spot on & she recommended Lost Lambs last week, hence its made the wish list.

Hope this inspires you – do pop your favourites in the comments box below.

Happy reading, Han xx
