My Mum used to have a house in Turkey & I loved the Thursday market. It was full of beautifully displayed fruit & veg, baskets (you know I love a basket), hand painted bowls, hamman towels & linen. I have treasures from the market which I still use to this day in my home including the hand painted ceramic bowls.
I was soooooo excited when I stumbled across the same thing from one of my amazing suppliers & knew that I had to get them in! There are two sizes to choose from & each bowl is hand painted using vibrant colours & patterns. No two items are the same, each is unique & sold in a colourway based on the outside of the bowl…. so it will be a surprise when you open your parcel!
I think the bowls are great to use around the home but can also be used for decorative purposes on your coffee table, dresser or bedside table. I think the small ones are great for a salt pinch pot, dips, olives & table sauces. The larger ones are great for using as a small salad bowl, fruit bowl or nibbles. They are hand wash & make a brilliant unique gift that will guarantee a smile.
