Here comes the sun (although we are yet to see real heat up here in North Northumberland.. fingers crossed it arrives soon)
I am busy preparing for a long overdue family holiday to France soon….. with that in mind I thought I would pop together a few summer sunshine accessories that will add the finishing touches to your outfit. They are perfect for warmer days, whether it be abroad or in the U.K.
I love a stack of bracelets in the summer. There are no hard or fast rules on how to do it. I generally pick out summery colours like turquoise, coral & white which will work with my outfit & love using a mix of colours, beads, textures & metals. I love layering our inexpensive bangle bobbles & scrunchies with bracelets too – not only do they add colour to your wrist but they are on hand too for tying up hair when its hot!
Colourful, fun earrings are a brilliant way to add a summery feel to your outfit – I love these earrings above, they work so well with a summer dress, white tee or shirt, in the U.K or abroad …..
If colour isn’t for you why not take a look at the fabulous mix & match gold & silver charms & hoops which are perfect for packing in a suitcase & interchangeable making them so easy to wear day or night.
Living in Northumberland means your never too far way from another layer of clothing, even in Summer. I love a scarf, its the perfect portable layer for the chilly evenings on a cricket pitch, at a BBQ or the early morning school run! They also make the perfect travel companion on a cold plane & double up as a beach coverup. Choose from 100% cotton, embroidery or multicolored designs ….
Finally a quick shout out to these amazing, quick drying towels from GO EMU. They are made from recycled bottles, pack down in to a pouch for easy packing & super fun! I love the fact that they are really big allowing them to double up as a picnic rug on the beach, perfect for adults & children alike & have a handy loop to ensure they dry quickly.
I have gifted them to all my nephews & nieces for the summer … cant wait to get a group picture in France!
I have received a parcel from you addressed to a Sarah Whiteley at my home address. I don’t know anyone of that name living in Malham Way Knaresborough HG5 0HQ. Please would you advise me what to do with it.
