Colour to lift your spirits!

We could all use a little cheering up at the moment & wearing bright colours or using them in your home is a good place to start!

Pop & Flo loves finding unique colourful pieces & I thought I would share a few of my favourites at the moment & how I style them!

First up is hairbands … still super popular & ideal if you have missed out on your hair appointment this month due to lockdown (like me!). I love wearing hairbands as they add a pop of colour to a simple outfit, keep your hair off your face & look great on a zoom call if your working from home. I love wearing mine with a white shirt, jeans & stud earrings.

I love a pretty earring! These teardrop earrings in blue & green (other colours are available) are the perfect addition to your Christmas day dress… I also love wearing mine with a silk shirt & jeans or a poloneck. They are easy to dress up or down & can be worn all year round. The teardrop shape is flattering on all face shapes & elongates the jaw… a facelift earring! If a statement isn’t for you why not take a look at the green onyx studs which are pretty & easy to wear everyday.

Wrist stacks are a simple & effective way to add colour to a look. I am a navy girl & love stacking the navy Tombok star bracelet, a navy bangle bobble & the creole friendship bracelet in navy & gold. It is the perfect way to finish off a simple shirt / jeans combination. If I am going a bit more dressy I would add the whistle layered bracelet in gold for more impact. We are all at home so much more at present…. I mean where else can we go? Throughout lockdown I have had great pleasure in prettying up my table with coloured glass vases, candles & mats alongside flowers & plants to mark the start of the weekend! Its become a bit of a ritual on a friday now & even my husband has noticed! At the moment my favourites include the guardsman red candles, green bud vases, olive green mats & wooden candle sticks.
