Buzzing after 24 hours in London at Chelsea flower show with a few friends – so much colour, floral inspiration, & creativity it’s my perfect day out.
The Chelsea Flower Show did not disappoint — my top 5 plants were bold, bright, and full of fun!
1) Geum – Tropical Tempest
2) Papaver – Lords Grape
3) Salvia Amistad
4) The King’s Rose – Shrub rose from David Austen Roses
5) Geranium pratense – Mrs Kendall Clark
I could have chosen so many more.
All the gardens were incredible but I loved the The Addleshaw Goddard Freedom to Flourish Garden with its planting, recycled materials & water feature. I
Also really enjoyed the ADHD Foundation Garden – the umbrellas on the tree were really quirky & who knew bailer twine would be so trendy in the Saatchi Gallery garden.
After a couple of gins in the late evening sunshine & some shopping we headed to Wild by Tart for a delicious supper!
Such a brilliant day which I would highly recommend even if you’re not green fingered.
