In our new world of being at home & not often being able to see family & friends as much, sending gifts has become really important.
I have sent so many parcels out on your behalf over the last two months & taken great pleasure in writing notes of celebration, encouragement and kindness on the Pop & Flo compliments slips.

As a family we have sent lots of cards, gifts & left flowers or farm eggs on the doorsteps of close friends as a surprise! Cards have been really hard to source & I recently found a great small business called Ledbury Letterpress who make handblock printed cards in bright colours with stars ….. I had to have them! I spoke with Rachel the owner & she was happy to let me sell them here at Pop & Flo so I thought it was worth a go!

So now you can add cards to the gifts you are sending… I can post them direct for you & write the card on your behalf! How’s that for customer service! Equally if you want to stock your card stash up or want a few gifts & cards to hand deliver then you can shop them all here now.

I have also taken delivery of some new studs, friendship bracelets, hairbands & bangle bobbbles that seem to be the most popular items for gifting… these are all between £4.90 & £16 which makes them the perfect uplifting treat for you or somebody you love!

I wanted to also thank you all for supporting my small business during this time ….I have had so many fantastic orders, messages of kindness, super reviews & support … I really do appreciate every one & thank you all for shopping small.

Colour is such a mood booster and we could all do with that at the moment. I sourced these beautiful new pieces in January when the word Coronavirus wasn’t really even on our radar. I was thinking of summer holiday accessories, weddings, going to parties, concerts, the races and all the other fun things that we can’t do at the moment.

Roll on to April and I realised things had to change and because of this the amazing supplier allowed me to change my order! I decided to concentrate on easy lightweight colourful earrings which I have decided to call the rainbow earrings … they are fun, mood lifting and perfect to wear at home for your zoom calls, chatting to family and friends and dress up days…. or in my case my new highlight – a trip to the supermarket!

I have also found the most beautiful hand-beaded purses and pouches /small clutches in vibrant velvet … sure to lift the mood despite the fact that handbags aren’t really being used at the moment … these will come in any time and offer style, fun and make the best unusual gifts! They also work really well with the colourful earrings!

I have had a busy week posting out lots of lovely orders to you all… birthday gifts, gifts to cheer people up, new mummy presents and treats to wear at home. Hair accessories continue to be very popular – I wonder why!
Thank you all so much for supporting my small business and thank you to the Royal Mail for working so hard to keep the service going. Parcels are taking a little bit longer so do allow 7-10 working days for delivery. Post days continue to be Monday and Wednesday and delivery is free until further notice. I am posting second class but if you need something quicker please do let me know.
