I had the best Monday ever this week as I got together with Amelia Anderson, a fellow Northumbrian, small business owner & artist who loves colour, flowers & creativity just as much as me!

Its a lonely life running a small business sometimes so we thought we would get our products together & create a fun & colourful spring / Easter table complete with tulips, chocolate eggs & Easter tree. Cue Amelia’s beautiful table mats & lots of bud vases, daffodils & catkins & a lot of chatting, coffee & Easter nests made by Amelia’s girls & our job was done. We had the best time & have decided to run a giveaway over on Instagram. It launches on Friday & we are giving away £100 in vouchers across both our businesses so do check it out.

We designed two tables, one with a vase of tulips in the middle & lots of bud vases. We used Amelia’s beautiful bird placemats & coasters. You can buy them in singles so that they can be mixed & matched. We paired a mix of coloured candles & bowls of eggs & bud vases… more was definitely more!

The addiction of the gingham planters filled with primulas & an Easter tree alongside Amelia’s new tablemats gave the table a real wow factor – perfect for a celebratory meal.

We filled the Pop & Flo candle platters with moss, crocus bulbs, chocolate eggs & candles which looked great. I am definitely going to recreate this on Easter Sunday at home.

The new turquoise enamel tray was a perfect way to display Amelia’s delicious chocolate nests, she used pretty chicks from Tesco & mini eggs to decorate them. I love the designs on Amelia’s tea towels too … pink, stars & chickens … what’s not to love!

Back in stock for 2023 are the best selling enamel pieces from a small artisan suppler in Turkey.

We use the mugs & bowls daily in our home. They are lightweight, colourful, robust & can be popped in the oven & dishswasher so are practical too. We are often having picnics or hot chocolates on the farm or out & about with the ponies & I love the fact the mugs are shatterproof & can just be popped in a basket with no worries. I have also used them on the beach in summer as they keep wine very cool!

The bowls & trays are a great addition to the home – perfect for everyday meals or entertaining. We use the trays for pizzas, open salads or coffee in the garden. I also love the bowls for supper, my husband is often late in & they are perfect for popping in the bottom oven with his supper to keep warm!

I have decided to donate £1 from every sale of the Enamel pieces to the British Red Cross Disasters & Emergency Committee aid appeal to help all the people in Turkey & Syria following the catastrophic earthquakes this February.
