School is out for summer & I always have a mad last minute dash to get the girls teachers a gift to say thank you…. which normally ends up as a plant, bottle of wine or hand cream!
As a former primary teacher, I thought I would pop together a guide with a few of my favourite things from some small businesses that I love. Hopefully this will inspire you all too!
First up is the Heritage Hare Company. They launch their website this weekend so I think they deserve a shout out! I love their coasters, oven gloves & all manner of countryside gifts that are all made in the UK. These pretty coasters are perfect for a strong mug of teacher tea or coffee.
Next up is a local to me business run by Sara called Altruis Living. Sara is an expert in all thinks self care & her customer service & advice is amazing. She has a full teacher gift guide so go check it out! My favourite product is the relaxing aromatherapy hand & body wash… a real teacher treat!
I have used Named Sox for over a year now… they make the best personalised socks! I get the girls them for school but I love the fact you can have anything written on them! I thought this would be a great pressie for a teacher with initials, best teacher, I love science or anything that is applicable!
Here are a few more that are worth a mention –
Boxdgifting is a fabulous collection of thoughtful gifts, virtual hugs & lovely stylish home accessories. I especially love the ‘hug in a mug’ heart shaped baskets & amazing limited edition gift boxes.
I love the vibrant notelets & fun stationary boxes & pen pots by South London Letterpress – hand printed & great designs … the pen pots are beautiful!

I recently came across a lovely small business called Being Truely Me – Charlotte makes the most beautiful cards & I love her thank you teacher cards. I have bought these for my girls teachers this year … just need to sort the other treats now!
Hope that helps with ideas … if you run out of time & have to say that I ALWAYS loved the bottles of wine & gin ….& the homemade cards…. always ticked the box in my teaching experience!
